Shetland textile designer Andrea Williamson shares her machine knitting enthusiasm and experience in this introductory class. Learn how to create interesting knitted fabrics on a single bed domestic machine.

Using hand tools to transfer stitches for shaping and techniques to make hems, cables and hand tool lace.

Play with manipulating stitches into innovative fabric structures.
Hand tool techniques learned in the class can be used on any model of single bed hand frame knitting machine. Delicious refreshments included.
Please note there is a high step to access this venue.
