You will be making three silver buttons using silver with etched Fair Isle patterns on it. The silver will be pre-etched using traditional patterns from Shetland knitters. The buttons will be 22mm in diameter. You’ll learn some basic silversmithing skills.

You’ll need good dexterity to be able to use small hand tools, including files and electric drills. No previous experience is needed. There is one chemical used: Ferric Nitrate.
